3. Collection of personal data when visiting our website
a) Server logfiles
In principle, you can visit our homepage without informing us about who you are. As is common for almost all websites, the server that hosts our website (webserver) automatically collects information about you if you visit our homepage. This data is technically necessary for us and ensures the stability and security of the website.
The webserver automatically identifies certain personal data such as your IP-address, date and time when you visit our homepage, the browser used by you (e.g. internet explorer, Firefox), the operating system (e.g. Windows,

We analyze the server protocols on a regular and anonymous basis for statistical purposes (click stream analyses) in order to be able to evaluate how our website is used. Based on

4. Collection of personal data when using our Social Medica Accounts or web services of third parties.
Use of social media plug-ins
We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Twitter, XING, LinkedIn and Google+. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that if you visit our website, we do not initially transfer any personal data to the providers of the plug-ins in general. You can identify the provider of the plug-in by the marking above the initial letter or the logo. We offer the possibility to communicate directly with the plug-in provider via the button. By clicking on the button and thereby activating it; the plug-in provider is informed that you have visited the respective website of our online-offers. In addition, the data described under section 3 is transferred. In case of Facebook and Xing, according to information provided by them, in Germany the IP-addresses is anonymized immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is transferred to the respective plug-in-provider and saved there (for US-American providers: in the USA). c) LinkedIn Insight Tag
Furthermore we use conversion tracking on our website with "LinkedIn Insight Tag", a tool of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (“LinkedIn”). This tool creates a cookie in your web browser, which enables the collection of especially the following data: IP address, device and browser properties and page events (for example page views). This data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days. The cookie itself is stored for 6 months in your web browser. LinkedIn does not share any personal information with us and only provides aggregated reports on website audience and ad performance.
In addition LinkedIn offers the possibility of retargeting via the Insight Tag. With the help of this data, STADA can display targeted advertising outside its website without identifying website visitors. d) Integration of YouTube videos
We have included YouTube-videos in our online offer that are saved at www.YouTube.com and which can be played directly from our website.

In case you are participating in a chat with our sales representatives via the remote detailing platform „Kadrege” on the website
www.ihre-beratung.stada the following data will be processed:
- Date and time of the call
- Duration of the call
- Presenter login
- Presenter name
- Presenter and participant technical configuration (operating system, browser, Flash version)
- Slide displayed during the call
These data are processed for of technical purpose in order to maintain the usage of the platform. Legal foundation for the use of your data is Art. 6 (1) 1 f) GDPR.
Furthermore you have the opportunity to participate in a satisfaction survey. Participation in the survey is voluntary and cannot be backtracked to you. Legal foundation for the use of your data is your consent according to Art. 6 (1) 1 a) GDPR. The results of the survey are transferred to us by our service provider "IQVIA" in an aggregated form.
h) Additional Information for STADA mobile Apps
In case you use a mobile app distributed by STADA you might be asked to register or sing in for the app. In case such registration is done using the login services of
DocCheck Medical Services GmbH the requirements of Section l) down below apply.
In general your registration data will be used to identify you as a medical specialist, since the apps can only be used by medical specialists.
The data processing of your registration data will be based on you consent according to Art. 6 I lit. a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time. If you diced to withdraw you consent or not to enter your data for
registration you will not be able to use the app.
For the functionality of the apps we need – depending on the app - authorizations for you mobile device. Those authorizations include:
- Access to fotos/ media/ files for the purpose to cache used files of the app
- Access to the camera for the purpose of using the augmented realty function
- access to full network
STADA ensures that the authorization will not be used to gain access to your personal data such as telephone numbers or photos. The authorization are only used for the smooth usage of the app. Legal basis for the usage of the authorization is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 I S. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. You can check the authorization of the respective app bevor downloading it in the app store.
By downloading an app in an app store the app store provider will process the following data for the purpose of analyzing:
- profile data
- technical data such as IP address, date and time of download, used operating system (for example Android or iOS), data concerning the mobile device you are using (model number and device ID) as well as data concerning existing network connections.
When using the Movymia AR app, it is possible to use the so-called augmented reality function to display a spine model. By using this function, Unity Technologies ApS and - depending on the operating system of your mobile device
- Apple Inc. or Google LLC receive information about your use.

5. Collection of personal use by using our services
STADA only (with the exception of web statistics) only collects data that you yourself disclose yourself to STADA to make use of one of the services offered by STADA (e.g. ordering of information brochures). This data will then be processed and used exclusively for carrying out the service that you requested (e.g. sending of the requested information material).
a) Newsletter
The regular STADA newsletter, press releases and ad-hoc releases provide information about our company announcements. The newsletter is sent to you only if you actively register for this service. If you register for our newsletter, the personal data you entered there is processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter.
STADA ensures the confidential treatment of your data. If you wish, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time in various ways: via direct contact with us and via the link "unsubscribe from newsletter", which is included
with each newsletter.
The same applies to the distribution of newsletters from STADA affiliates on products and/or services for which you can register on the respective product websites.
b) Using the contact form
If you contact us by e-mail or a contact form, the personal data provided by you (e-mail, name, and telephone number) will be saved in order to answer your questions. The personal data which was collected for that purpose will be deleted once the saving of the data is no longer necessary, or we limit the processing if legal storage periods exist.
The provision of your personal data is not a legal or contractual obligation. This means that you are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. If you decide not to provide us with your personal data, some offers on our website may not be fully used by you.
c) signing up for closed user groups (STADA service for healthcare professionals)
Most Internet pages and functions which are made available by STADA do not require personal registration from the visitor. In some areas of this website, however, a registration is required for legal reasons (e.g. STADA service for healthcare professionals). To be granted access to these areas, visitors must complete a form on the respective Internet page, whereby certain fields are obligatory and others are optional. In certain cases, visitors thereby select a username and a password. If the obligatory fields are left empty, access to the selected website is denied and STADA cannot process the request.
Registration of closed user groups (log in medical specialist group)
Certain information related to prescription pharmaceutical products can only be made accessible if you are part of the medical specialist group. In this case, we are obligated to request your personal data as well as proof of
your profession. This personal data will be administered in a data base and be treated with strict confidentiality.

Alternatively, instead of such registration access can also be granted via a so-called DocCheck password.
This website uses the login service from the company DocCheck Medical Services GmbH ("DocCheck"). DocCheck uses so-called “cookies” – text files that are stored in the browser of the user – to make the use of their services easier. The information generated by the use of these cookies is only transferred to a server from DocCheck and is not shared with the website operator or other third parties. As part of marketing campaigns, we offer the opportunity to receive samples or samples of our products. If you decide to order these samples, we process the following personal data from you: name, title, contact details, e-mail and possibly. Your telephone and fax numbers and, if applicable, data about your illness for the purpose of processing the sample requests. b) STADA is a globally-active company. If this is the case, we will maintain the applicable data protection regulations and take appropriate protection measures to safeguard the security and integrity of our personal data, in particular through the conclusion of the EU standard contract clauses.

A transfer of your personal data takes place to the following recipients: Service provider for the distribution of the newsletter subscription, Service provider for the processing of orders for samples and information material, Service provider for the customer magazine subscription, Google Inc., Facebook Inc., Twitter Inc., YouTube, XING AG, LinkedIn Corporation for the purposes described under Section 3 and 4.

If we forward data according to the outlined services to our service providers, those are – in addition to mandatory legal provisions – bound by separate privacy agreements with us.
